The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin into heaven is Saturday, August 15th. When All Saints Day and the Assumption fall on a Monday or a Saturday there is NO obligation to attend Mass. We will offer the Mass of the Assumption of the Blessed Mother at 8:15 Saturday morning, August 15th.
On the weekend of August 15 – 16 will be the second collection for National Needs Combined Collection: Catholic University of America, Catholic Communications Campaign, Catholic Home Missions Appeal and Catholic Relief Services Collection.
