The St. Francis de Sales swim team summer session is about to begin! The first tryout will be Tues, June 16. Email swimsfds@gmail.com for more information.

The team is open to SFDS students or parishioners:

• K-8th grade

• Practices held at a nearby pool

• Non-mandatory summer practices start in mid-June; fall practices begin when school starts

• Team tryout consists of swimming freestyle stroke length of the 25-yard pool (two lengths if swimmers are 9 & up) & demonstrating basic freestyle form & proper side breathing (turning head to breathe, ear in the water)

• 4 fall Sunday swim meets

• Focus on stroke technique, endurance & love of the sport!
