Trunk or Treat sponsored by St. Francis de Sales Knights of Columbus is this Friday, October 30th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Costume parade, trunk decorating contest, food and drinks. $5.00 per person or $20.00 per family.

Monday, November 2nd, is All Souls Day. All Souls Novena envelopes are in the pews. Our parish Book of the Dead will be at St. Joseph altar.
St. Francis de Sales School Book Fair Sunday, November 8 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm in auditorium. Then Monday and Tuesday and Thursday.
St. Francis de Sales Choir Memorial Concert is Sunday, November 8th at 4:00 pm. The program features Gabriel Faure’s beloved Requiem in D minor
All Souls Day – November 2nd
November – the month of All Souls
During the month of November, we pause to recall more intently our beloved dead and all the dead. With our lively Catholic imagination, the Church, our Mother, who never forgets any of her children, gathers her dead children into her arms, holds them up to the LORD and sends her keening for them ricocheting across the hear, praying for all her children, especially those in purgatory.
All Souls Novena envelopes will be in the pews this weekend to enroll your deceased loved ones in the All Souls Novena of Masses. If you wish you may e-mail the names to me and I will place them on the altar Monday morning, November 2nd, All Souls Day —- mwakefield@sfdsparish.com
Our parish Book of the Dead will be on the side altar of St. Joseph on Saturday, October 31st.
